overcrowded refs, for the win

I've been sitting on this concept for a while now. so glad I finally made time to do a little something for myself

Took a look at all of the sighthound breeds since I was set on making myself one as a character. I never really draw them :C Plus all of the cool kids have sighthounds C: Salukis make me think elegance.. and they look feminine for some reason. not really what I was looking for. Borzois are neat, but too big. Love whippets, but I wanted something a little fluffier. So a Silken Windhound it is < 3

Still iffy about the final design. Not 100% what I had in mind. But now that I've been working with it for a bajillion hours I'm liking it p:

Anddd I thought I'd actually give it the extra effort and throw some sloppy shading on there. sweet.

Also, I really want to change my dA account to nikki-gt. because I'm a loser and like cars and want to get away from this account for some reason because I'm starting in a new direction with my style. But then I don't know what to do on furry-paws because there's a thousand nikki's on there :C and I don't know if I could handle being called gt. maybe. seems weird though. and then I realized I'd have to somehow add close to 2k people to my watch list over there.. or I guess I could just log in here. Finally, I've been bonz since like 2004.. and I've used that on other sites before showdog and furry paws I believe. I'm really attached to the name, as much as I'd love to get rid of it LOL. I've gone through so much as 'bonz' and I've really come a long way artistically. ugh, I can't decide c:
